*listening quietly* I hope he's going to use over-gloves... I'm willing to bet that that thing's dangerously hot, by now.

Tiny: Are you out of your mind Scarlet!? You may be indestructible but you can still get hurt!

What about everyone in the pub? I don't want them all to suffocate! *starts to move the barbecue* Ahhh... *wince* Now THIS is hot!

Tiny: Told ya. *Goes back into the bar* Hey Leiutenant, you got the first aid kit ready? Scarlet's gone and burned his hands.

*cringes as she sees Scarlet pass the door, wheeling the barbecue* Yes, of course, Tiny. *hands it to him* Is it too late to offer to help him?

*coming in* Could somebody keep an eye on the barbecue for a moment? I must just go and rinse my hands before they well and truly ignite! *hurries off to the gents', somehow keeping himself from crying out in pain when he turns the door handle*

Tiny, could you go and give him a hand? I know the taps are automatic, but he might need some help... No pun intended.

Tiny: I was gonna go back out. I'll keep an eye on things outside while you tend to Scarlet. *Thinks a moment* Make sure he puts ice on the burns.

S.I.G.! All right then. *goes off and gets an ice bucket*

*comes back, trying hard not to wince* Perhaps I should have used oven gloves... *sits down and allows Lake to help him to put his hands in the ice* Ohhhh...! That f-feels better. *shivers slightly*

Hmm... You're going to get cold like that, aren't you? *takes a throw off of one of the sofas in the snug and wraps him up* There; is that better? *takes out one of his hands and winces* That looks really nasty! Why didn't you ask me to help you, or come in for gloves?

Your body is going to lose a lot of heat trying to regulate its temperature - you know first aid, you know that; you're the one what taught me a lot of what I know about first-aid for ex-Mysterons. *rubs his back in an effort to warm him* Whether you can get ill or not, I don' think getting too cold will help your retrometabolism to heal the burns - it will be too busy fueling your body heat!

It's no trouble at all, Captain Scarlet. *pulls one of his burnt and frozen hands from the ice bucket and starts to tend to it, trying hard to be gentle* I know you're cold, but try to stay still, Captain; I really don't want to hurt you.
