Burgundy: Hot water bottle?
Scarlet: The dog, Captain. I woke this morning thinking that I was at home! I happen to own a Labrador, myself. *turns to the professor* Do you like dogs?

Prof: love dogs, when me and mike get settled in our new place we are getting a puppy

Scarlet: I'd be happy to go along with you...
Burgundy: Is that a good idea? You seem to have a bit of a soft spot for animals...
Scarlet: I'm not soft! I just can't stand to see suffering. Panther was a tiny, lost, frightened and injured little kitten when I found him! How could I just leave him?
Burgundy: Hmm... Didn't Colonel White go spare when he found out that you'd smuggled him onto Cloudbase...?
Scarlet: At first, yes. But he had to admit that he's a valuable Mysteron detector - he's becoming a good pest control expert, as well. *turns back to the Professor* The offer is still open - I'll join you if you like.

Prof: thanks Captain but me and mike both know what we want
**Mike enters**
Mike: Morning all, we all sleep well?

Yes, thank you. I've never known the place so quiet!

Scarlet: No, I don't think I have, either. For once, I had no difficulty in sleeping.

Scarlet: Not as far as I know. Captain Burgundy, would you like a hand? We open in seventeen minutes.

Mike: **looks at Prof** Hey Kim how do you know about what happened last night
Prof: because Michael you woke me up running around the room singing your head off!!

Scarlet: Oh, is that what made the dog growl? I thought he'd heard a cat outside, or something, and went back... *frowns* I must have been tired... normally, I would have went to investigate.

Mike: hey i never said i could sing

Mike: Kimberley!

Lime: *Comes in yawning* Good morning. *Sits up to the piano, starting to play Souvenir by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark*
Silver: *Walks in a while after Lime starts playing* Morning, everyone. *Yawns loudly and sits in a chair near the piano* Morning, Lily. *looks across at Mike and the Professor* Is everything O.K.?

Mike: my wife is being embarassing revealing that i wear mr men pjs!
Prof: and its truehe has Mr Bump with him but he has others at home dont you
Mike: shush youre embarassing

Scarlet: How do you put up with her? *clears his throat, trying to think of a good subject to change to* Isn't it Shrove Tuesday, today? *calls out* Captain Burgundy! I hope you've put pancakes on the menu!

Lime: Oh, yeah! We need pancakes!
Silver: And you call me a stomach on legs?

Scarlet: Me too - chocolate! Mmmmm!

Mike: sugar and oranges for us 2 aint it Kim?
Prof: speak for yourself Mike

Silver: Who doesn't like chocolate?
Lime: Jason, could you get me breakfast? I'd like a full English, please.
Silver: Too busy to get your own food, again? *raises an eyebrow at her* With beans?
Lime: Yuck! You know I hate them!
Silver: *Sniggers to himself and runs to the bar*

Scarlet: *overtakes Silver with ease and smirks at him before ringing the bell on the bar* Service!
Burgundy: Captain Scarlet, I had breakfast with you before the bar opened! You can't possibly be hungry again!
Scarlet: Actually, I can.

Silver: Two full English breakfasts please, one with beans, please Captain Burgundy. *looks back at Lime and smiles*
Lime: *Sticks her tongue out at him and starts to play*

Prof: 2 coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches please

Scarlet: I was here first! I want some pancakes, smothered in chocolate sauce, with a battered Mars bar as a side order, if you aren't too busy.
Burgundy: Captain, you're helping out - you can get it yourself. *scribbling notes frantically* Sorry Mike, what did you want with the coffees? Breakfast sandwiches? I take it you want the full English version - sausage, eggs, bacon...?
Scarlet: Do you mean to tell me that the staff are permitted to serve themselves? *gapes at her*
Burgundy: *nodding* Just put a tab up, listing your orders, and the money will be deducted from your pay.
Scarlet: Oh. *tries to work out how much he's going to have in his pay slip by the time he's satisfied* Right. In that case, I'll eat up and make a start on the dishes.

Lime: *Trying not to giggle too much* Captain Scarlet, wait your turn! You're putting me off!

Scarlet: It's all right, Captain Lime, I've been granted permission to skip the queue entirely! *grins at her and winks* Ah, this is better! I could feel my sugar levels getting low...

Lime: Dropping to a normal level, Captain? *Grins back broadly*
Silver: Lily, do you think you should stop tormenting him?
Lime: Tormenting him? He's putting me off! I can't remember which verse I'm on! ...Anyway, Captain Blue's been saying that he's been high on sugar recently... *Thinks about what Captain Madder said about his last mission* then again, maybe it would be a good idea.

Scarlet: I'm retrometabolic - I can't get high on sugar! Judging by what Doctor Fawn's told me, excess sugar is absorbed, to help me to recover when I'm injured... *looks away, beginning to feel self-conscious* Anyway, being retrometabolic, I can't be affected by eating or drinking anything in excess - unless I completely over-indulge, which would be irresponsible to say the least.
