That's a very good question... *looks across at Burgundy* I'm going to have to run some tests and see what I can find out. In the meantime, try to get her to drink plenty of water and keep her warm - I'll do the same with Captain Scarlet.

*Mads goes back into Burgundy's room*

Plenty of water and warmth. I was going to ask you if you have an electric blanket...

Me? Own an electric blanket?

... But then I thought you'd be better off with hot water bottles. You'd warm up quicker too with them

No, thanks, but I would like a few samples of what Burgundy and Scarlet had to eat today. I doubt if your
cooking would be the culprit, but I have to eliminate all the possibilities, you know? Not too much, just enough to run a few tests.

*ladles some items into plastic containers* Of course, anything to help. But I'm not sure if this will be any help, Doc, they weren't the only ones to have the soup and the hot chocolate...

*Fawn turns to Madder* You've also had hot chocolate, have you? *frowns thoughtfully* If they were asking for soup, they might have been feeling off already... and I suppose the same could be said for the hot chocolate, seeing as their retrometabolism is fuelled by sugars... I wish I knew what was going on.

I had some hot chocolate, as well, it was delicious. I didn't have any soup, though.

*puts a teabag in a mug* If they'd eat some food, it might help their energy levels. Burgundy isn't keeping her food down though. *reaches for the sugar pot* Scarlet.... *starts staring into 'space'*

What? *shakes her head* I was thinking, that's all. Doctor, do think they'd be able to keep medicine down?

Probably. I was thinking of using capsules. *grabs a handful of sugar and lets it fall through her fingers back into the pot*

Sugar pills?

*nods* It'll take slightly longer to work than if we'd injected them, though...

*Fawn rubs at his chin thoughtfully* Hmm... Perhaps it would be worth a try. If they can't manage the capsules, perhaps we should try a glucose drip, or similar. At any rate, we'll try the sugar capsules first.

If you don't have a prepared glucose solution, Doc, I can make you one if you give me the proportions...

*Fawn scribbles some instructions for the glucose solution on a blank receipt slip and hands it to Captain Ruddy* If you could make me up two of these, it'll be a huge help. I'm going to start analysing the soup, seeing as nobody seems to have had any adverse affects from the chocolate drink. If I find nothing, I'll check that as well - the Mysterons could have added an ingredient that will only affect them... but I doubt they'd be that stupid; after all, they'd be handing us a new weapon on a silver platter.
