Captain Scarlet websites

On Spectrum Headquarters, Chris Bishop said that other sites have said Rhapsody is the official partner for Captain Scarlet, but I haven't found any.

There aren't so many sites listed here, Captain Burgundy, have you found any that say it? Or anyone else, as well?

Can I ask why you didn't ask on SHQ? I don't mind doing the research, but it seems a bit strange that you're asking here, Captain.

I can tell you that the first "official" pairing of Scarlet and Rhapsody (that I know about) was by John Theydon, in his novels - one of which I reviewed on this site. It was more hinted at than anything else, but the hints were quite heavy in places. There were also hints in other places, such as in audio adventures. I think it's safe to say that it was Mary J Rudy who first paired Captain Scarlet with Rhapsody Angel - much more so than John Theydon did - but I'm not as familiar with the comics, novels and such as other fans; I really don't think myself qualified to comment too much on that side of things.

I'm not sure how "canon" the comics, novels, audio adventures, etc. are though. I don't consider them to be quite as "on the level" as the episodes - or the work of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson in general.

So far, I've found one mention of Scarlet and Rhapsody being an item, but it's on Wikipedia (Captain Scarlet's Personality) and says:

I'm going rather off the subject now, but as a quick aside: Did you know that Sylvia Anderson did a lot of the work on Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, because Gerry Anderson was busy with (I believe) his second Thunderbirds film? I wonder if that's part of the reason that he wanted to redo Captain Scarlet and also the reason that the CGI version was as different as it was. Just a thought.

I didn't want them to think I was trying to argue, because I'll probably just get my message deleted, and I might get another warning, or something. SHQ isn't as easy going as this site, and I feel kind of nervous, on there, so I don't like to ask too many questions.

OK, IMDb (IMDb - Captain Scarlet (Character) - Biography) seems to say something very similar (if not identical) to Wikipedia:

...And every other reference to a Scarlet/Rhapsody relationship that I can find on Google says exactly the same, so it's obviously a copy and paste job from the same source. I'm sorry, Captain Canary, but I can't find any of these sources either. Perhaps you should ask on SHQ.
