Hi! My name is Angela and I'm working on a new Captain Scarlet fan fiction. I saw that you only have one story and I thought that maybe you'd take me on, if what I submit is good enough. Maybe you won't be interested though... do you only submit your own stories here? I know the site is very new, but there is only one story here and it looks like it belongs to the site's creators.

Well, I'll leave it up to you. I'm glad to be a part of such a good site anyway. I found it by accident on the forumotion site - I'm glad I clicked your link!

I'm not all that strict about where something is posted as long that it isn't hugely out of place. Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Ah, you're a fan fiction writer in the making. That's very interesting... If you don't mind, I shall reserve judgement until you show me what you have. As our rules would suggest, this site is strictly of the generally suitable for all (suitable for all ages) classification. If your stories fit that criteria, I'm sure that we'll be happy to take them on. Either way, I promise to be kind - I respect all fellow writers and their feelings. Fanfiction.net is rather a mixed bag and I can see why you'd be unsure about submitting there - especially if you're new to writing and are not confident enough to receive criticism. I might suggest Spectrum Headquarters, but there are a lot of high-quality stories being submitted constantly and you might feel a bit out of your depth. In any case, I would suggest turning to that site if you decide not to have your stories posted here because there are a lot of seasoned beta readers on board there that can help you on your way.

Whatever you decide, I hope you enjoy the site and feel at home. Welcome aboard. By the by, would you prefer to be called Angela or Captain Canary?

I've got loads of half-finished stories but I don't know how to finish them just yet. I guess I get so far and then get cold feet, kind of.
